MUST READ BEFORE PURCHASE: This product is a permanent solution of a common problem in power adapters especially in laptop chargers. This product is Not complete charger/ power adapter but a kit designed for technicians or those good in DIY stuff to repair their own pin or wire damaged adapter/ charger. Common symptom of broken wire is that charging light only turns on when you move plug cable in a certain direction or beeping warning sound come from charger brick due to short circuit inside dc plug. Other symptoms are exposed dc wire due to accidental physical damage or if cat /dog chewed laptop charger wire, burned melted plug or general wear & tear etc.. BASIC INSTRUCTIONS: Before replacing the connector first make sure the connector fit in to the device jack. Then cut the cable of your adapter from at least one foot distance from dc plug in case you have to rejoin. Check the wires of the old plug cable to make sure you get the polarity right. Wrong polarity some time can damage the device. Wire colour coding can be different so if not sure than please ask. You can remove the choke (a magnet often attached with chargers dc cable before plug) to make more space. Finally Say ‘No’ to non branded low quality replacement adapters which do not last very long and could be safety hazard too due to less or no safety features. Fixing own genuine/ original adapter could be better option, more beneficial and safe.
